Excelsus Solutions Raves about LensFree Technology

Excelsus Solutions of Rochester, New York is a company specialized in lenticular and large format digital printing of signage, displays, and specialty projects.

Excelsus Solutions acquired HumanEyes StudioPro software in April 2006 and since then, has been busy printing a great variety of large format lenticular projects dedicated to backlit applications.

The LensFree Profit Opportunity for Printers

As soon as the release of the LensFree feature has been announced, Excelsus Solutions decided to benefit from this opportunity and activate this option on their HumanEyes software.

The LensFree feature in HumanEyes’ software allows 3D and 2D animation effects to be printed directly on glass and acrylic. This innovation is a printing breakthrough as it eliminates the needs for lenticular lenses and opens new and cost-effective opportunities for printers using UV flatbed presses.

‘’We were immediately very enthusiastic‘’ says Mark Laniak, Excelsus President. ‘’LensFree dramatically alters the lenticular landscape by letting anyone print with ordinary, available materials. A large share of the print buying market would like to utilize lenticular, but many have been unable to justify the price because of the cost of lenses.’’

Spectacular Backlit Applications for Outdoor & More

Thanks to the HumanEyes LensFree technology, Excelsus Solutions can now print 3D effects and 2D animation for backlit applications - directly on glass and acrylic- using a simple dialogue box added to HumanEyes PrintPro software.

For Excelsus Solutions, the benefits of the LensFree technology were various and suited perfectly for their backlit applications - such as those featured in airports, subway and rail stations advertisements, in-store and mall decorations, interior design, and more.

The 3D and animation effects using The LensFree technology are sharp, eye catching, accurate and may be viewed from a long distance.

HumanEyes’ LensFree technology has already taken Excelsus’ printing on acrylic to new heights, wowing their customers. “Our customers are already going nuts over it,” says Laniak, who says Excelsus has built a special, 4-foot x 8-foot lightbox on wheels to display the company’s lenticular capabilities.

“No other visual medium captures this much attention, especially when we print on acrylic with HumanEyes. The depth is incredible; it’s like a diamond,” Mark Laniak says.

Thanks to the HumanEyes’s technology, we reported a 16% increase in sales in a very short period.
