Vered Levy-Ron,
CEO

Vered Levy-Ron joined HumanEyes in 2010.  Prior to joining the company, she founded DaLi Advisory, a consulting company advising CEOs of technology companies. She was also CEO of Yalicoo, an internet company.  Before that, she served as head of the Prepaid Products and Services Group at IDT Telecom, focusing on the large retailers and convenience stores in the US.  Ms. Levy-Ron was also a strategy management consultant at A.T. Kearney in Paris, at Booz Allen & Hamilton in New York and at Shaldor in Tel Aviv, where she consulted to large global technology companies on a wide range of business issues.  She is a board member at RRsat (NASDAQ:RRST).

Ms. Levy-Ron holds a B.A. degree in French and economics from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. degree in finance and international management from Columbia Business School.



Prof. Shmuel Peleg,
Co-Founder

Shmuel Peleg is a professor at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he has been a faculty member since 1980. He was the chairman of the school of computer science from 1989 to 1991, and has held visiting positions at the University of Maryland, New York University, and the Sarnoff Corporation. Peleg's OmniStereo technology, which is the basis for the creation of HumanEyes' three-dimensional panoramas, won the Hebrew University's Kaye Award in 2002.

Shmuel Peleg received his BSc degree in mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1976 and MSc and PhD degrees in computer science from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1978 and 1979 respectively. He has published over 150 technical papers in computer vision and holds 16 issued US patents.

 

Shahar Bin-Nun,
COO

Shahar Bin-Nun brings HumanEyes 13 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development in the US and abroad. Before joining the company, he served as VP Sales & Business Development for Press-sense, Inc., a market leader in business flow automation solutions for the print industry.

Prior to his tenure at Press-Sense, Mr. Bin-Nun was VP Sales at Magink Display Technologies. He began his career in the graphic arts industry as CEO and owner of Hemed Press, a large offset printing company in Jerusalem.

Mr. Bin-Nun holds a B.A in Economics from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

 

 

Anton Bar,
VP R&D

Anton Bar is a seasoned executive with 18 years of experience in software development. Prior to HumanEyes, Anton was CTO of Digital Trowel, a text mining company. Prior to that, he was CTO and VP R&D at CDIS, an enterprise content management company and before that Director of the Developer Community at G.ho.st, Inc., the first Israeli and Palestinian start-up, developing an award-winning, free virtual computer on the Web. During the early 90’s, Anton founded WebAccelerator, a start-up developing software for the optimization of networking over satellite lines, later acquired by ViaSat, Inc.

Anton holds a Masters degree in computer science, with honors, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
